Terms of Service

Welcome to Guild of Guardians (the “Game”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of the Game governing your access to and use of the Game and all related websites, launchers, marketplaces, forums, in-game chat, and associated services (collectively, the “Services”). By installing, accessing, or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction or have verifiable parental/guardian consent to use the Services. If you are accessing the Services on behalf of another person or entity, you confirm that you have the authority to bind them to these Terms.

2. Account Registration and Security

• Account Creation: Some features of the Game require an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information and keep it updated.
• Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Unauthorized Access: If you suspect any unauthorized use, you must secure your account immediately.
• Account Limits: We may restrict the number of accounts per individual or device to preserve game integrity.

3. Limited License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you are granted a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services solely for entertainment and non-commercial purposes. All other rights are reserved.

4. Intellectual Property

The Game, its content, artwork, characters, lore, music, code, marketplace features, and all associated trademarks are owned or licensed by us and protected by intellectual property laws. No ownership rights are transferred to you through your use of the Services or purchase of digital assets.

5. Digital Assets, Virtual Items, and Currency

• Nature: The Game may offer virtual currency, NFTs, characters, equipment, and other in-game items (“Digital Assets”). These are licensed to you, not sold, and have no real-world monetary value outside approved marketplaces.
• Acquisition: Digital Assets may be earned via gameplay or purchased from approved channels. Availability and attributes may change.
• Finality: Unless required by law, all purchases are final and non-refundable.
• Modification: We may alter, rebalance, or remove Digital Assets to maintain fair play and economy stability.

6. Player Conduct

While using the Services, you agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorized automation, bots, or hacks.
• Engage in harassment, threats, or hate speech against other players or staff.
• Post or share unlawful, obscene, or infringing content.
• Buy, sell, or trade accounts or Digital Assets outside approved systems.
• Disrupt gameplay, servers, or community channels.

7. User-Generated Content (UGC)

• Responsibility: You are solely responsible for any UGC, including names, chat messages, artwork, and community posts.
• License: By submitting UGC, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, transferable license to use, adapt, and display your content within the Services.
• Moderation: We may remove or disable UGC that violates these Terms.

8. Guilds, Raids, and Social Features

The Game includes guild systems, cooperative modes, and other social features. Guild leaders may have administrative powers. We may disband, rename, or reassign guilds to protect the player community and enforce these Terms.

9. Marketplace and Trading Rules

• Trading and sales must occur only within approved in-game or partner marketplaces.
• Any attempt to bypass marketplace fees, engage in scams, or conduct off-platform trades may result in sanctions.

10. Competitive Modes and Events

• Events, leaderboards, and tournaments may have their own rules.
• We may reset rankings, adjust rewards, or take corrective action to preserve fair competition.

11. Updates and Maintenance

We may release updates, patches, and balance adjustments to improve the Game. Some updates may be required to continue playing.

12. Availability

The Services may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time for technical, operational, or business reasons. We make no guarantee of continuous access to any feature or content.

13. Streaming and Community Content

• Permitted: Non-commercial streaming and fan content are generally allowed if compliant with these Terms.
• Restrictions: Do not share leaked, hacked, or data-mined content.

14. Naming Rules

• Character, guild, or asset names must be respectful, accurate, and non-infringing.
• We may rename or remove names that violate our standards.

15. Feedback

By submitting ideas or suggestions, you grant us the right to use them without obligation or compensation.

16. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect accounts and player data but cannot guarantee absolute security. Use the Services at your own risk.

17. Prohibited Technical Actions

• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Game except where legally permitted.
• Bypassing DRM, anti-cheat, or authentication systems.
• Hosting, mirroring, or emulating servers without authorization.

18. Enforcement

We may issue warnings, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the Services and Digital Assets will end immediately.

19. Rollbacks

We may revert player progress, guild states, or marketplace transactions to address exploits, bugs, or balance issues.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

• As-Is: The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
• No Guarantee: We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

22. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of the Services and its affiliates from any claims or damages resulting from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

23. Compliance

You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, including export control and trade restrictions, when using the Services.

24. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

25. Entire Agreement

These Terms represent the entire agreement between you and the operator of Guild of Guardians and supersede all prior agreements regarding the Services.
